Chardham Yatra is considered to have great religious importance in the Hindu religion. According to ancient scriptures, by visiting Chardham, all the sins of a person are destroyed. every year visited by lakhs of devotees.

According to Indian religious texts, Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath are the most sacred places of Hindus. During this journey, the pilgrims first visit Yamunotri (Yamuna) and Gangotri (Ganga) and from here the devotees take holy water and perform Jalabhishek on Kedareshwar. The traditional route for these pilgrims is as follows

Haridwar – Rishikesh – Dev Prayag – Tehri – Dharasu – Yamunotri – Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Triyugnarayan – Gaurikund – Kedarnath-Badrinath
